What we store
The Bible keeps an anonymous account identifier, an optional display name,
and the things you create: highlights, folders, reminders (including any
topics you enter), and verse links you share. When someone opens a link you
shared, we record that it was opened so both of you can see the exchange in
your folders.
Sign in with Apple
If you sign in, we store only the anonymous identifier Apple provides
(and your name, if you share it) to link your devices. We never see your
password or email unless you choose to share it.
What we don't do
No ads, no trackers, no analytics, no selling or sharing of data with
anyone. Your data lives on the app's own server and is used solely to make
the features above work.
Deleting your data
Settings → Account → Delete Account removes your account and everything
attached to it — highlights, folders, reminders, and the links you
shared — immediately and permanently.
Scripture
All six translations offered — the King James Version, American Standard
Version (1901), Bible in Basic English, Webster's Bible, World English
Bible, and Young's Literal Translation — are in the public domain and free
to use. Text is sourced from getbible.net. Type is set in Charter
(Bitstream free license).
Terms
The app is provided as is, without warranty of any kind. Be kind with
what you share; you are responsible for the names and labels you attach to
shared links.
